Refund Policy
Our 30-day money-back guarantee, and how refunds work on monthly and annual plans.
Our money-back guarantee
We’re confident you’ll be happy with our service. If you’re not, you get your money back.
30-day money-back guarantee. If you’re not happy within 30 days of your first payment, on a monthly or an annual plan, tell us and we’ll refund that payment in full. No cancellation fees and no fine print. We may ask what we could have done better, but you don’t have to answer.
Monthly plans
Monthly plans run month to month with no contract. You can cancel at any time from your customer dashboard, and your plan stays active until the end of the month you’ve paid for. After the first 30 days, monthly payments aren’t refunded for part-months.
Website as a Service plans need 30 days’ notice to cancel, so we can wind your site down properly or hand it over.
Annual plans
Annual plans are paid a year in advance and save you 10% compared with paying monthly.
- In the first 30 days: a full refund, as above.
- After 30 days: you can still cancel at any time. We refund the full months you haven’t used. The months you have used are charged at the normal monthly price, because the 10% saving only applies to a full year.
Example: you pay $2,127.60 for a year of the Starter site ($197 a month). You cancel after 4 months. We charge 4 × $197 = $788 and refund $1,339.60. - Renewals: we email you 30 days before your annual plan renews, with the renewal date and price. If it renews and you didn’t mean it to, tell us within 14 days of the renewal and we’ll refund the renewal in full.
How to cancel or ask for a refund
Cancel your plan from your customer dashboard, or contact us. Refunds go back to the payment method you used (PayPal), usually within 5–10 business days.
What isn’t refundable
- Work done under a separate quote or agreement (for example custom design, development or marketing projects). Those terms are set out in that quote or agreement.
- Third-party licenses or services bought specifically for you at your request.
- Accounts closed because of a breach of our Terms & Conditions (for example the acceptable use rules), except where the law says otherwise.
Your legal rights
This policy doesn’t affect any rights you have under the consumer law where you live. For example, consumers in the UK have a 14-day right to cancel online purchases, which our 30-day guarantee already covers.
