We will ensure your DNS records are setup and pointing correctly to your new Web Assist Managed WordPress hosting. We’ll need temporary access to your DNS provider to edit the zone file, but don’t worry, we’ll explain it all and where/how to get all those.
We do in fact offer premium enterprise-ready hosting for WordPress eCommerce websites (both Woo, SureCart and others). Due to the resources an eCommerce website requires, We recommend hosting an eCommerce website on it’s own dedicated cloud server, this keeps things fast and reliably, especially concurrent sales/checkouts. Very few WordPress sites need more than the disk space included in our plans. If yours ever does, we can add extra space in 10GB blocks, charged accordingly, with no downtime.
No. Our WordPress hosting runs on server stacks built for WordPress websites only, which keeps them fast and secure.
Email is best kept with a dedicated provider such as Google Workspace or Microsoft 365. We’re happy to help you set up the DNS records so it works alongside your website.
Every plan includes a generous monthly visit allowance, shown on its pricing card. Most small-business sites use only a fraction of it. A visit is one unique visitor in 24 hours; bots and crawlers don’t count.
Occasional spikes, like a campaign or press coverage, are fine. If your site goes over its allowance two months in a row, or its traffic starts affecting other sites on the server, we’ll get in touch and recommend upgrading your plan or moving to your own cloud server, priced separately.
There are no surprise overage charges, and we never take your site down without talking to you first. The only exception is an attack or emergency that puts other clients’ sites at risk, where we may limit traffic temporarily while we sort it out.
